  • Physical Distancing:
    • Physical distancing of at least 2 metres (6 feet) is the most important control measure to prevent COVID-19 transmission. Whenever possible, appropriate physical distancing must be maintained between all workers. Diligent supervision is expected at all times to ensure compliance.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
    • Where physical distancing cannot be maintained, the following PPE shall be provided to & worn by all workers:
      • Mouth/nose protection in the form of disposable or reusable masks
      • Eye protection in the form of a full face shield or tight fitting goggles. Note that safety glasses will not suffice.
      • All PPE must be stored safely & separately when not in use. Stored PPE must be clearly labelled, identifying the user.
      • All reusuable PPE must be taken home by the user and cleaned/disinfected nightly.
      • All single use PPE must be discarded safely at the end of the shift.
  • Hand Hygiene:
    • All workers must be provided with an adequate supply of hand sanitizer available for use. In addition, workers shoould have the ability to wash their hands with clean water and liquid soap as needed.
  • Cleaning & Disinfecting:
    • All commonly touched surfaces must be cleaned & disinfected a minimum of twice per day.

Failure to comply with minimum requirements may result in legal enforcement.
